Carol Asendorf

Carol Asendorf (Kucharski), of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the age of 69. Carol was born on January 19, 1948 in Northampton, MA, to the parents of Gertrude and Walter Kucharski Sr.

She pursued a career in nursing and married her true love, Edward Asendorf in Sept of 1969. The couple moved to Long Island, NY and raised 3 children and went on to have 7 beautiful grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her mother, Gertrude Kucharski; husband, Edward Asendorf; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Asendorf; son, Michael Asendorf; daughter-in-law, Gabi Asendorf; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jonathan Fuentes; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Bruce Simmons; sisters-in-law, Margaret Asendorf and Donna Kucharski and her 7 grandchildren, Nicholas, Anna and Samuel Fuentes, Sarah and Kayla Asendorf and Henry and Katarina Asendorf. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Walter Kucharski Sr. and her brother, Walter Kucharski Jr.

A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior from 10 to 11 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
