Carole J. Dunn

Carole J. Dunn, age 77 of The Villages, FL died at Villages Regional Hospital after an eight month battle with cancer. Born November 30, 1937 in Blissfield, MI the daughter of the late Bertha and Edward Demlow. She was a 1955 graduate of Blissfield High School. On March 14, 1958 she married Douglas Dunn in Blissfield, Michigan. She retired from Hamlin Company in 1995 after 19 years and moved to The Villages where she enjoyed reading, playing cards, traveling and golfing. Carole was proud of her 4 holes in one on the championship courses. She attended New Covenant Methodist Church. In addition to her husband; she is survived by her two daughters: Sandy (Gregory) Lewis of Tecumseh, MI and Sherie (Rick) Duttenhofer of Jupiter, FL, one son: Bradley Dunn of Westminster, CA; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her sister Jean Tiede of Ann Arbor, MI. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister. A gathering will be held at Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake Chapel on Wednesday, May 20 from 10 – 11 a.m.. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don Doggett officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carole can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1650 W. Main Street, Suite 3, Leesburg, FL 34748.
