Lady Lake police investigating burglary to residence

Lady Lake police are investigating a burglary which was reported Saturday in the 200 block of Skyline Drive. Items taken included a woman’s diamond wedding ring set valued at $500, a man’s wedding ring, tools, a small safe and a pressure washer. Entry to the residence was by prying open a door.

Marsha Brinson has been hired as the new director of the Lady Lake Public Library. She is a resident of Lady Lake. She has been the youth services director at the Leesburg Public Library. Her first day in her new position will be June 23.
