He had his first on May 27, 2016 at Pelican Executive Golf Course after taking up golf after moving to The Villages in January 2010.
Villager Barbara Mattingly got her first ever hole-in-one on March 30. She’s been golfing for just nine months. Her ace came on the fourth hole at Tarpon Boil Executive Golf Course, but she wasn’t done yet. Playing in a four-person scramble, she pitched her husband Bernie’s drive into the 9th hole for an Eagle.
