CDD 4 supervisors hoping to slow down traffic

Community Development District 4 supervisors are hoping to slow down traffic off Calumet Avenue.

The CDD 4 proposal is to reduce the speed limit on the residential roads in the neighborhood north of Calumet Avenue from 25 mph to 15 mph.  That would make it consistent with the other “residential” roads in CDD 4.

The speed limit on Calumet Avenue will remain at 25 mph, which is consistent with Belle Meade Circle and Legacy Lane, the other two “collector” roads in CDD 4.
“Villa” roads have a speed limit of 10 mph.

The District has continued to gather information, and District Manager Janet Tutt indicated at Friday’s CDD 4 meeting  that more information should be available at the April meeting.
