CDD 4 supervisors scratching their heads over swimming pool survey

Community Development District 4 supervisors were scratching their heads Friday when they learned that all Villagers would be helping to decide what kinds of pools will be going into two villa units being built in the Marion County section.
Earlier in the week, the Amenity Authority Committee directed District staff to develop a resident pool survey to designate and determine the two types of pools (family or adult) to be constructed in the Phillips and Soulliere Villas in The Villages of Marion.
CDD 4 supervisors indicated they believed that the decision should be left to Villagers living in that area.
However, the pools will be open to all residents of The Villages so all residents will have the opportunity to take part in the survey.
The survey will be available beginning Monday, Oct. 17. The deadline to participate is Nov. 18. Results will be announced at the Dec. 7 AAC board meeting.
