Community Development District 6 Supervisor Thomas Griffith has been chosen to serve as the district’s alternate representative on the Project Wide Advisory Committee.

The selection was made at Friday’s CDD 6 supervisors’ meeting.

CDD 6 Supervisor Peter Moeller is the district’s primary representative on PWAC, which he also chairs. Griffith would represent CDD 6 at PWAC if Moeller was unavailable.

Russ D’Emidio had previously served as CDD 6’s alternate representative on PWAC, but he lost his supervisor’s seat in 2014 when he was defeated in an election.

Griffith, who was appointed to the CDD 6 seat earlier this year, pointed out that he is up to speed on what is going on with PWAC as he attends “90 percent of the meetings.”

He was chosen unanimously.
