CDD 6 reappoints ARC representative, names Village of Virginia Trace resident as alternate

Community Development District 6 supervisors on Friday reappointed their Architectural Review Committee representative and named a resident of the Village of Virginia Trace as his alternate.

Irv Markley will serve another four years as CDD 6’s primary member to the ARC. He also serves as chairman of the ARC.

“I think you have been a great asset to this board and District 6. Thank you for wanting to do this for another four years,” said CDD 6 Chair Sally Moss.

CDD 6 also voted to name John Bode as its alternate member.

He moved to The Villages in 2011 after retiring as vice president of sales and business development at BGE Home Products and Services in Columbia, M.D.

A civil engineer, Bode is a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in Baltimore.

“Your qualifications are impeccable,” Moss said.
