Central Florida Health named top place to work in healthcare

Becker’s Hospital Review has released the 2017 edition of its “150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare” list and Central Florida Health, the parent organization of Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital, has been recognized.

The list recognizes organizations committed to fulfilling their missions, creating outstanding cultures and offering competitive benefits to their employees. The organizations recognized encourage professional development among their employees and promote tomorrow’s leaders.

“We are honored to be listed for the third year in a row among the 150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare,” said Amie Richason, vice president of Human Resources at Central Florida Health. “Our employees are our most valuable resource and their health, happiness and success at work is vitally important as they provide care for the people of Lake, Sumter and Marion counties.”

The Becker’s Hospital Review accepted nominations for this list and developed and editorial review process to include organizations that have gone above and beyond to make their hospitals, health systems and companies top places to work.

Central Florida Health offers health and wellness benefits and efforts to improve professional development, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and a sense of community among employees.

“We remain dedicated to providing our team members with the programs, benefits and resources to achieve meaningful, rewarding careers,” concludes Richason. “We are honored to be recognized among the top organizations in the United States and for the acclaim this brings to our area.”
