Paul Davis won their 3rd straight game and sit one half game out of first place. Bill Dunkley led the win with 3hits and 2 RBI’s, while Bob Buchanan, Sam Patrick(2 RBI’s) and Al DuBuc(2 RBI’s) all contributed with 2 hits. Manny Sanchez led Babiarz with 3 hits and 5 other players had 2 hits each.

PERKINS 13  HUMANA 10

Perkins scored the last  runs in this game for the come from behind victory. They were paced by Ralph Furbush and Andy DeLuise who each had 3 hits. They also got 2 hits each from Jim walter, Jim Morton and Tim Wilcox. Jim Kennedy had 3 hits and Dave Oatley had 3 RBI’s for Humana while 6 others had 2 hits each.

 

MULBERRY 16  3AMIGOS 12

Mulberry built a lead, gave it up and then scored 5 runs in the top of the 7th to hand 3Amigos their 4th straight loss. Chuck Bowman led the win with 4 hits and 3 RBI’s. Tim Healy also had 3 hits and Ed DeMaio had a 2 run homer. 3Amigos were led by Rod Severson who had 3 hits, including a 3 run homer, and 4 RBI’s. Dave Hinkley had 4  hits while manager Woody Wood, Bill Pauldine and Mark Hildebrand all had 3 hits.

 

SRG 16  IHOP 15

SRG scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th for the walk off win. Bob Strolin had a big game for SRG with 4 hits and 5 RBI’s. He was helped by Dick Adams, Ed Krishna and Scott Marshall who all had 3 hits. Denis Hodge and Paul Hein both had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s for IHOP. They also got 2 hits each from manager Jack Nesci, Terry Yanny(2 RBI’s) and Tom Ceglie(2 RBI’s).

FROSS&FROSS 18  HARLAN2  in 5 INNINGS

Manager Al Deibler(4 RBI’s) and Ron Rowe led the win with 3 hits each. They were helped with 2 hits each from Tom Fulton, Mike Labetti and Bill Yeager. Harlan could not get their bats warmed up but did get 2 hits from Ken Atkinson and 2 RBI’s from Fred Hughes.

 

HARLAN 16  SYNERGY 15

Harlan scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th to pull out the walk off win. The winners got 3 hits from each of Chick Cicatelli, Ken Atkinson and Craig Dahlquist. They also got 3 RBI’s from Jim Wheeler. Synergy was led by manager Vern Brooks, pitcher Harold Holliman, Paul Justice and Rick Fredieu who each had 3 hits.

ARDEN 9  SYNERGY 6

Arden scored 4 in the 4th  to take the lead and shut out Synergy the rest of the way for the win. Tim Carroll led the win with 3 hits while Wayne Mallory and Don Mulneix both contributed 2 hits. Rick Fredieu got 3 RBI’s for Synergy while manager Vern Brooks, Tom Bolte and Dick Petula all had 2 hits in the loss.
