Chad Murphy, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life Saturday, September 24, 2016. Born in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of Denny and Jackie (Bolinger) Murphy. Chad enjoyed a successful career in the professional sales arena. He enjoyed golf, motorcycle riding and was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Chad had an exemplary work ethic and many accomplishments. Most important to him was his family and raising his step-children.

Chad came to The Villages from Houston, TX in 2014. He leaves his wife of ten years Nancy A. Murphy; his parents Denny and Jackie Murphy, The Villages, FL; step-sons Evert “Jimmy” Means and Mitchell L. Means both of Houston, TX; his brother Chris Murphy, The Villages; a niece Molly Murphy, Florida Gulf Coast University; cousins David Bolinger, Columbus, OH and Amy Onion, Ft. Wayne, IN; uncles Skip Bolinger, The Villages, and Jim Bolinger, Duncanville, TX; and many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 3 p.m. with a gathering of friends and family to follow from 3:30 – 5 p.m., at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159.
