Charles ‘Chuck’ R. Douglas

Charles “Chuck” R. Douglas, 78, of The Villages, FL,  went home to the Lord on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Chuck was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He retired to The Villages, FL after 32 years of service at UPS. He was a proud member of the United States Army National Guard Reserves. Chuck was an avid golfer and great sports fan. His great loves were the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Rosemary Douglas; daughters Victoria Douglas and Kym Rich; son in-law Clay Rich; grandchildren Hannah Douglas, Christian Rich and Nicholas Rich.

He is preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Haupt; brothers Russell Douglas and Bill Douglas; and special Aunt Jesse Matlock.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11 a.m., located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159.
