Charles E. Burrowes

Charles E. Burrowes, 88, of The Villages, Florida passed away August 7, 2014 at The Villages Hospice House, The Villages, Florida. He was born on July 15, 1926 in Mount Vernon, New York. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Charles and Patricia moved to The Villages from Southold, NY in 1997. Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Burrowes, The Villages, FL, son, Robert Burrowes, San Diego, CA, three daughters, Sharon Burrowes, Tampa, FL, Karen Hicks Kabool, MO, Patricia Paulus, Riverview, FL, brother, James Burrowes, Naples, FL; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, John Burrowes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8:30 a.m. on August 14, 2014 at St. Timothy Catholic Community. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Timothy Catholic Community.
