Charles E. ‘Charlie’ Witte

Charles E. “Charlie” Witte, age 72, of The Villages, FL passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, NY June 6, 1943. He moved to The Villages, FL from Deerfield Beach, FL in 2005. He was Catholic. He loved baseball and rooted for the Dodgers and the Mets. He had a special way with people and everyone liked him. His family referred to him as “Uncle Brother”.

He is survived by his wife Jane E. Witte of The Villages, FL; sons Charles Witte of Athens, NY, Christopher Witte of Spring Hill, FL and Cletus Witte of Kingston, NY; brother John Witte of The Villages, FL; and 10 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL 32159 on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5 – 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Timothy Catholic Community, 1351 Paige Place, The Villages, FL 32159 on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.
