Charles M. Bailey, 92, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016. Originally from Rochester, New York, a veteran of World War II, Charles and his wife Doris, moved to Miami, Florida where they raised their family. Charles worked in the field of Medical Photography at the University of Miami, until 1983 when he retired and spent 5 years fulfilling his dream of operating his own vineyard. In 1987, Charles and Doris moved to The Villages and spent their years playing golf and enjoying many of the other activities available here. Charles will be sorely missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He is pre-deceased by Doris, his loving wife of 66 years. Charles is survived by his four children: Judith Eades (Felix), William Bailey (Cindy), Stephen Bailey (Patty), and Lynne Brooks (Oscar). He was the beloved grandfather of Charles, Matthew, and Dana Eades; and Michelle and Andrew Brooks. He was also the loving great-grandfather of Stephanie and Mitchell Eades, Nora Ballentyne, and Sophia Ziegler.
