Charles Terry Myer, 72 of The Villages, FL passed from his life peacefully in his home on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Terry was born in Anderson, Indiana January 3, 1942; he received his degree in Electrical Engineering in 1964 at GMI and received his master degree at Xavier University in 1968. Terry lived and worked in Minnesota and Texas before moving to Florida in 1985 where he worked for Lockheed Martin as Operation Manager for the missile system division from 1985 to 2006. Upon retiring in 2006, Terry and his wife Rita moved to The Villages. Terry loved golfing and The Villages lifestyle. Terry is survived by his wife of 29 years Rita, of The Villages, Fl; daughters, Tina Chulick of Flower Mound, Texas; Sue Bauman of Waconia, Minnesota; Lori Powell of Stanton, Texas and Becky Bowden of Wildwood, FL; sons Dan and Chris Myer of Burnsville, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial services will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL.
