Carlos Tapia, manager of the newest freestanding bank, touted the newest building’s futuristic features. He said that the location showcases new technology such as smart ATM machines that allow easy transactions that can be printed.

It also features Chase Private Client, express banking with five ATMs and four bank tellers.

Before the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Tapia gave state Sen. Dennis Baxley a tour of the newest bank upon his arrival, in order to show where Chase was going in the future with its high-tech equipment.

“I’m excited. It’s a sign of progress,” said Baxley. “The Villages is prospering.”

He noted that the bank’s opening allows residents to reinvest in financial opportunities  and help them benefit from the progress being made in the community.”

Baxley later called the opening of a bank the “financial lubrication” to success and economics of the county.

Residents who live in the southern part of The Villages can enjoy accessibility to the newest Chase Bank.

“Please come visit, meet our outstanding team,” said Tapia to welcome Villagers.
