Neighborhood 52 Social Club gathers for holiday celebration

The Neighborhood 52 Social Club had a holiday gathering on Tuesday, Dec 12 at the Mulberry Grove Recreation Center.

There were 64 members present for the event. The Original Villages Belly Dancers provided the entertainment.

Tee’d Off Tootsies celebrate the season

The Tee’d Off Tootsies from the Village of Calumet Grove had their Christmas party on Dec. 8 at Chefs of Napoli.  A great time was had by all the ladies.

The Progressive Rummy sisters recently raised a toast for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year  Each week these wonderful group of ladies share laughs and food (largest salad bar in The Villages) as they play Progressive Rummy also known as Shanghai Rummy.

Special Christmas breakfast for veterans

A special Christmas Breakfast for Chapter 1036 of the Vietnam Veterans members was held recently at Bob Evans on County Road 466. Honorary Member Alice Dexter and helpers created special gifts for each member. Honorary Member Alice Dexter and helpers created special gifts for each member. One of the gift preparers was Valerie H. Johnson whose father, Milton H. Harper,  flew more than 80 missions with the Army Air Corps.
