The Chula Vista pool lighting has been upgraded and the pool has now resumed its normal closure time of 11 p.m. Upgrades to lighting are also coming to Southside, Hilltop and Paradise pools. The upgrades will also allow those pools to be open at night, too.
Night swimming was halted last year after a health inspector determined that lighting at the pools was insufficient.
