The Colony Clayers Club will hold a sale of their newest pottery pieces from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Colony Cottage Recreation.

Refreshments will be available for shoppers to munch on.

The Colony Clayers Club, run a number of challenges for its members throughout the year.

“Challenges are planned programs to spark and stimulate club members to make something new and different,” said Bob Blumberg of Colony Clayers.

“These challenges encourage each member to rise to the occasion and to think ‘out of the box’ by developing new  techniques and designs to stretch one’s imagination in the world of clay.”

The challenge pieces will be on display at Friday’s Event.

“Explaining and showing off a clayer’s imagination always brings admiration from  other clayers whether the show is carried to a home or happens right at the Colony Arts and Crafts Room,” he added.
