Stiffed by ‘Golf Fest’, Columbia ParCar to host ‘Freedom Fest Cookout’

Columbia ParCar has participated in The Villages “Golf Fest” since its inception 10 years ago. This year, in response to being prohibited by the event organizers, Columbia ParCar will host their first annual “Freedom Fest Cookout” on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12.

The event,  which will be held at 354 S. Hwy 441 in Lady Lake, comes after the company was “abruptly informed [they] are no longer allowed to participate” in this year’s Golf Fest. There were no reasons provided to Columbia ParCar to explain the prohibition, and reasonable requests for further information were dismissed by organizers.

If you are interested in attending this year’s event, you can read more details by visiting their website at http://www.parcarfreedomfest.com or make your way down U.S. Hwy 27/441 just past CR 466.
