Concert to benefit Villages Honor Flight on Pearl Harbor Day at American Legion Post 347

Villages Honor Flight is holding its final fundraiser of the year on a very special night – Pearl Harbor Day.

For the third year the Villages Swing Band, conducted by Jean Butler, will present a concert at the American Legion Post 347.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Monday. The concert will last from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event features an open bar.

The concert will feature the swing music of Glen Miller and the Big Bands.

“The concert will also bring  joy to some of our World War II veterans who are being sponsored to the event.  Some very generous friends have purchased tickets and asked that they be given to Veterans.  We live in a very generous community,” said Harry Miller of Villages Honor Flight.
