Congressman Nugent and Democratic opponent to face off in event Tuesday

Congressman Rich Nugent and his Democratic opponent David Koller are scheduled to appear at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the College of Central Florida in Lecanto. The event is being sponsored by the Citrus County Chronicle.

Audience members will be encouraged to write out questions for the candidates that will be considered by the moderator. The moderator will not take questions directly from the audience.

Judicial candidates will be appearing at the event as well. Candidates Denise Dymond Lyn and Mary Hatcher will give speeches. There will not be questions for the judicial candidates. The judicial candidates are running for a judgeship based at the Citrus County Courthouse in Inverness. The judge will be elected from voters in Lake, Sumter, Marion, Hernando and Citrus counties.
