Congressman Webster’s office gets $1 million for veterans

Congressman Daniel Webster has announced the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded $1 million to Florida veterans in compensation, pension or retroactive payments since January.

“We owe our military a debt we can never repay. Yet, sometimes our veterans’ attempts to receive the benefits or compensation they have earned are met with delays. Working with veterans whose claims have gone beyond the expected time frame for processing is taken seriously at my office,” said the Republican who represents The Villages.

Webster’s office staff works with liaisons and County Veteran Service offices to provide necessary or missing paperwork to the VA or to obtain status updates for District 11 veterans. If you need assistance with a federal agency issue, call the office at 352-241-9220.
