Constance Lillian “Connie” Waldron, 91, of Lady Lake, Florida, died on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. Connie was born in Randolph, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late George Iverson and Hazel McCormick Iverson. She was educated in the Hyde Park, Massachusetts schools before becoming a Dance and Gymnastics Teacher and Choreographer. Her career extended for over 50 years, in which she touched and guided many children’s lives at her studios in Needham and Walpole, Massachusetts. Upon her retirement to the Villages in 1987, Connie began to volunteer her time teaching “Villagers” lessons in tap, ballet, jazz, clogging and Drill Team synchronization. Annual shows were choreographed and produced by Connie under the names of Connie Waldron and Show Biz Productions. Her Dance Troupes performed at Disney World, Silver Springs, The Villages’ Town Squares, Club Group Functions and at local area Nursing Homes. Her husband of 54 years, Howard J. Waldron, passed on in 1997. She is survived by her son, Howard James Waldron, Jr. of Lady Lake, Florida; her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Saltzman of Foxboro, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Nicole, Howard James, III, Tara, Katrina, Kristi, Michael, Robbie, and Daniel and 11 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday May 27, 2016 at 11 a.m., at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL with a reception following the service at the Savannah Center, The Villages, FL from Noon to 3 p.m.
