A 32-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop Monday afternoon in the parking lot of Pinellas Plaza in The Villages.
Natasha Ann Clinch of Wildwood had been at the wheel of a red Ford Mustang when she was pulled over by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy. The odor of marijuana appeared to be coming from the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle turned up a peach-flavored cigarillo with the tobacco removed and replaced with marijuana. Clinch’s purse contained a glass pipe. A search of her pockets turned up three small white crack rocks, the report indicated. They tested positive for cocaine. She was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug equipment.
A passenger in the vehicle, Corey Te’Juan McKinnie of Lady Lake, was arrested on charges of marijuana possession and possession of drug equipment.
Both were booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.
