Couple in medical facility

To the Editor:

Maybe this couple doesn’t have any family to help out. (See story HERE.) We don’t know when our day is coming and hard times facing us. Perhaps Alzheimers and Dementia afflicting them and don’t know what is going on. That could be YOU someday finding yourself in a nursing home and your property in need of care. Where are the friendly neighbors and Village community? I’m finding out this isn’t the Friendliest Hometown it’s said to be.  Too many cold-hearted people living here. Whiny petty neighbors with nothing better to do. Since YOU have nothing better to do, get out there mow, weed and plant flowers. It’ll make you feel better to help someone else. COMPASSION NOT FINES for this couple please!
