Creative Quilters’ Market to be presented in October at Savannah Center

Quilting Guild of the Villages will present its Creative Quilters’ Market on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The event will be held at the Savannah Center. The annual event is also sporting a new name: Creative Quilters’ Market.

This has always been a way for members to sell their beautiful hand made items, but the new name better expresses the abundance of talent and creativity among members. Quilters are not just creative at sewing, but are skilled in other crafts such as doll-making and jewelry- making

Creative Quilters’ Market offers for sale finished items that include quilts, clothing, jewelry, bags, dolls, glasswork and other items. Admission is free with a valid Villages ID.

The Quilting Guild of The Villages is a 501 (c) (4) nonpro t organization. Membership is open to all residents of The Villages (homeowners and renters with a valid ID.) The Quilting Guild of The Villages was established in 1993 and provides resources to create a fun, productive and educational quilting environment for its members. With more than 1,000 members and 19 chapters, Guild activities include nationally known guest lecturers, trunk shows, community donation projects, classroom instruction, workshops and retreats.
