Dale D. Rider

Dale D. Rider, age 91, of Wildwood, FL, passed away April 19, 2017 at a Lake County Care Facility. Dale was born June 29, 1925 to the late Leon and Nellie (Taylor) Rider in Battle Creek, MI.

He worked most of his life as a Construction Supervisor building banks.
Dale was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army Air Corp. For most of the war he was a flight instructor. However, in the waning days of the WWII, Dale accepted an appointment as an Army Corp flight officer.

Dale was preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores of over 40 years.
Dale is survive by a loving nieces and nephews, Marsha Davidson, of Columbia, SC ; Anne O’Dell , Anderson, SC; Cindy Cash, Georgia; Leon Rider, Georgia; Dale Rider, Georgia; and Mike Rider, Georgia.

Friends may call at the Page-Theus funeral home in Leesburg, Friday April 21, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday.
