Damage to greens reported at Stone Creek Golf Course in Ocala

Damage to the greens at Stone Creek Golf Course in Ocala has been reported to law enforcement.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to 9076 SW 62nd Loop in reference to a reported criminal mischief, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the assistant superintendent of golf maintenance, who reported that between the hours of midnight and 5:30 a.m., someone had entered the golf course through the construction access road, drove across several of the greens and spun donuts on the course. The superintendent advised that about $500 in damage was done to the golf course.

Golf course deserves a failing grade
