Daniel Acquavella

Daniel Acquavella, 97, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Mr. Acquavella was born May 13, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY to Jenny and Anthony Acquavella.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII. Dan retired from the USPS as a letter carrier in 1975 then moved here that year from Islip, LI, NY. He then worked as a security guard until the age of 90.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Grace; sons, Andrew Sweeney of Oxford and Danny Acquavella of Wildwood and sister, Dolly Honeycutt of Ronkonkoma, NY.

Dan’s family and friends will celebrate his life in the Wildwood United Methodist Church at a future date. Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
