DAR chapter in The Villages wins national membership award

John Bartram Chapter of The Villages was recently honored with the DAR’s National Award for New Membership Growth.

John Bartram was the only  Florida chapter to win nationwide recognition at the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s Continental Congress in late June.  At Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. Society President General Lynn Young presented the certificate of award to Honorary Regent Carole Ann Peskin of Duval with National Membership Chair Zadeea Harris looking on.

The chapter continues achieving exceptional growth with newly elected Regent Sheri Hudson of Sanibel, Registrar Diane Clemmons of Liberty Park, Assistant Registrar Peggy Sue Wilburn of Virginia Trace and Membership Chair Trish Waldemayer of the Village of Pennecamp (352-533-8884).
