David Howard Leeds

David Howard Leeds, 86, of The Villages, passed away Tuesday, May 3 at The Villages, FL. Born in 1929 in Leeds Point, NJ, David was a veteran of the Korean War, a commercial fisherman and a longtime employee of Bally’s Park Place Casino in Atlantic City.
He is survived by his wife, Olive Leeds, of The Villages, son, David (Diane) Leeds, of Reading, PA, daughters, Linda (Harry) Powers, of The Villages, Elizabeth (Steve) Wescoat, of Sevierville, TN, and Jennifer (Herb) Rose, of Warrington, PA, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and two brothers.
A viewing will be held Monday, May 9 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Beyers Funeral Home chapel in Lady Lake, followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 347.
