David J. Evans, 84, of The Villages, FL, passed this life on 10/7/15. David is survived by his wife Nancy (VanArsdel) of 63 delightful years, 5 sons, Jeff (Elizabeth), Gary (Jeanette), Thomas (Susan), Bill (Michelle), and David, 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Bob (Joanne) and Chuck (Nancy). He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters and his mother Jessie and his father Thomas. David served in the Navy for 4 years as a Machinist’s Mate. He worked in Architecture and as a Project manager for a construction company in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dave joined St. George Episcopal church in 1998 and served on its building committee. He served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to to the St. George Episcopal Church Memorial Fund. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. George Episcopal Church in The Villages, FL. Reception to follow at the church.
