Delmar Thompson obituary

Delmar W. “Buz” Thompson Jr., 67, The Villages, FL died on Monday, June 17, 2013. He was born in Memphis, TN and moved to The Villages in October 2011 from Fort Worth, TX. He was a professional airline pilot with Eastern Airlines, United Parcel Service and flew 141’s and 130’s in the Viet Nam War Era. He was Baptist by faith and loved animals. Survivors include his wife Judy, The Villages; and brothers-in-law Mark Eubanks, Conroe, TX and Doug Eubanks, Harrisburg, PA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM, at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL with Dr. Alan Holden officiating. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sumter County Humane Society, P.O. Box 67, Lake Panasoffkee, FL 33538.
