Democrats gather for coffee klatch in the Village of Largo

Eighteen specially invited neighbors packed into the beautiful Largo home of Bob and Anne Berg, curious to see who else would be there. Table treats abounded and everyone was made to feel welcome. All signed in, made themselves a name tag including their street address, and joined a discussion circle to share their experiences as a Democrat in The Villages.

As you can imagine, with each person giving a very brief history of their evolution before moving to the Friendliest Hometown in Florida, the group spent several lively hours learning about each other’s pre-Villages lives, occupations, and in some cases political transformations.

“We all had so much in common!  It was truly heart-warming,” said Bob Berg.
