Dennis G. Bedford, 68, of The Villages, FL, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014. He was born in Flint, MI, and moved to The Villages in 2009. He attended Tri County Baptist Church, Lady Lake, FL. Mr. Bedford was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Elizabeth, and first wife of 42 years, Barbara K. Liddell Bedford. Surviving are his wife, Diane E. (Setzke) Bedford; a sister Barb (Tom) Dion; nephews Bob and Will; daughters Shelley (Gregg) Hanchett, Flushing, MI, and Carrie (Todd) Degazio, Linden, MI; stepson Jeff (Laura) Setzke, Fenton, MI; stepdaughter Jill (Noel) Dean, Lowell, MI; Grandchildren; Hayley, Aaron, Jackson, Madeline, Charlotte, Kayla, Chanse, Kanon, Zeth, Darby, and Doak. Throughout Mr. Bedford’s life he enjoyed golfing, softball, snowmobiling, tinkering with cars, and antique car shows. A memorial service will be held at Tri County Baptist Church, 38405 Rolling Acres Road, Lady Lake, FL, 32159, Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL, 32162.
