Deputy arrests driver with suspended license at Wendy’s

A man with a suspended license and history of drug convictions was arrested Tuesday night in the parking lot of Wendy’s restaurant on State Road 44 in Wildwood.

Justin Marques Hodge, 27, of Leesburg was pulled over at about 11:30 p.m. due to an inoperable taglight, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The deputy found that Hodge’s driver’s license has been suspended since 2014. He also has had several other drug convictions, the arrest report noted.

Marijuana was discovered in Hodge’s vehicle.

He was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended and possession of marijuana.

He was booked on $2,000 bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
