The Developer is hoping to see 5.65 acres added to Community Development District 9.
CDD 9 supervisors adopted a resolution earlier this month directed District staff to file a petition with the Sumter County Board of County Commissioners to request they set a public hearing to adopt an ordinance to amend the CDD 9 boundaries.
The Developer has agreed to provide “sufficient funds” to CDD 9 to reimburse any expenditures for legal, engineering and other consultant fees, filing fees, administrative, and other expenses. In addition to filing a petition with Sumter County, the CDD 9 supervisor approved an agreement which allows the Developer to move forward with construction of the necessary infrastructure to support home sites on the 5.65 acres.
