Dirck Keyser Creighton

Dirck Keyser Creighton, 81, of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Richmond, VA, passed away suddenly on September 3, 2017. Dirck was born on April 16, 1936 in Mifflin County, PA to the late William and Marjorie Creighton.

A graduate of Handley High School in Winchester, VA, Dirck also attended Virginia Tech and was an avid Hokies fan. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a decoder stationed in Japan. A long- time resident of Richmond, VA, Dirck retired to Florida after many years with Franco’s Fine Clothiers.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Frances; children- Jenny Hannan (Andy) of Gaithersburg, MD, David Creighton (Debby) of Germantown, MD, Mike Creighton (Ellie) of Silver Springs, MD, Jackie Brooks (John) and Stephen Brown (Rebekah) of Richmond, VA.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Leesburg, FL and Richmond, VA.
