The Bobcats (4-1) had an opportunity to be the only undefeated team in D4 after five games, but the Rockets (4-1) exploded that celebration. Ed Humphries not only was the Rockets winning pitcher, but he also provided most of the offensive fireworks igniting two triple with five rbi’s. Manager Frank Archer also had an explosive day with four hits while Bruce Nelson netted three ribbies.
Mar Guarin led the Cats with four hits including a homer and four ribeye steaks.
