A driver running a red light caused a three-vehicle crash at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of County Road 466 and Morse Boulevard.
Brooke Kirsten Bjorn, 40, of Yahala, had been eastbound on County Road 466 when a witness said she ran a red light, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Her 2002 Isuzu Trooper struck a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 73-year-old Linda June Workman of The Villages which had been westbound on County Road 466 and making a left turn onto Morse Boulevard.
Bjorn’s vehicle then went on to strike a 2010 Nissan Versa driven by 29-year-old Shannon Marie McDonald of The Villages which had been stopped in the outside northbound turning lane of Morse Boulevard.
