Driver ticketed after collision in intersection of County Road 466 and Buena Vista Boulevard

A driver was ticketed after a collision Friday morning at the intersection of County Road 446 and Buena Vista Boulevard.

The driver who was ticketed had been eastbound at about 7:30 a.m. on County Road 466 and was turning left onto Buena Vista Boulevard when that vehicle collided with a vehicle which had been westbound on County Road 466, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

There were no injuries. The driver was ticketed on a charge of failure to yield right-of-way.

A bicyclist who witnessed the collision contacted law enforcement from the scene.
