Edward J. Harrison, 78 , passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015, Edward was born in Chelsea, MA, raised in Dorchester, MA and purchased his first home in Pembroke, MA where he raised 5 children (Mark, Donna, Frank, David and Bruce).  He married his sweetheart, Marianne Marshall, on April 5, 1958.  Edward retired from MBTA in 1991, he was a bus driver and eventually moved into maintenance dept.  Edward served in the Air Force from January 1955 until his honorable discharge in November, 1957.  He was in the Reserves until January, 1963.

Edward had 5 grandchildren, Pamela, Caitlin, Edward, Sean and Conor and 2 great grandchildren, Kelcie and Lili.

Edward enjoyed going on vacation with his wife and family.  He and his wife would go to Aruba where they shared a timeshare with his brother-in-law and sister-in-law.  He would also take his family when growing up to Disney World in Florida.  He also taught his grandchildren to love Disney.  He made us a Disney family.

Edward is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marianne E. Harrison, Son Mark Harrison, Daughter Donna Jewers , Son (the late) Frank Harrison, son David Harrison and wife Maria, son Bruce Harrison, brother John Harrison, sisters Lorraine and Patricia Harrison and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters.

He will be returning to his beloved Pembroke, MA at a future date.
