Edwin F. Cavanagh, 76, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was born in Long Island, New York to the late Edwin and Dolores Cavanagh. Ed served in the United States Army. He was an avid golfer and also a bowling center proprietor. Family was extremely important to Ed and he enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years Patricia Cavanagh; sons Jim Cavanagh (Laurie) of New York and Bob Cavanagh (Cathy) of North Carolina; sister Joyce Riess of Florida; grandchildren Zachary, Jordan Grace, Keira and Amanda.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5 – 7 p.m., located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159.
