Edwin Moye Sr.

Edwin Moye, Sr., 78, Leesburg, FL, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2016 at Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Moye was born on June 17, 1938 in Americus, Georgia. Mr. Moye had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1979 and was very proud of his service to his country. He was also a former Administration Security Specialist for Delex Systems Inc. He and his wife Edith moved to Leesburg in 2005 from Dale City, Virginia and were members of the 9th Street Church of Christ in Winter Garden, Florida. He was a Life Member of the American Legion Post #558 in Americus, Georgia. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years: Edith L. Moye of Leesburg, FL; two sons: Edwin H. Moye, Jr. and his wife Denise W. of Orlando, FL and Robert W. Moye and his wife Jennifer of Orlando, FL; two brothers: William F. Coley of Columbus, Ohio and William Killing of Columbus, Georgia; two grandchildren: Monica Kiona Moye and Marcus Moye; two great-grandchildren: Jada Moye and Aubree Moye; two nieces: Cynthia Johnson and Judith Rice; nephew: Kibbee Reese. Mr. Moye was preceded in death by his mother, Ira Lois Moye and a brother, Thomas Moye. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at 9th Street Church of Christ in Winter Garden, Florida.
