To the Editor:
Before you elect Donald Trump to Emperor and turn the White House into a Kremlin clone you should revisit the poem (First They Came) by Martin Niemoller.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Socialists.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Jew.
This is a line I’m adding to bring this Poem up to date
(Then they came for the Free Press, and I said nothing)
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.
