Employee arrested after allegedly stealing tools from Galaxy Home Solutions

An employee who allegedly stole tools from his employer was arrested Thursday by Wildwood police.

Joseph Anthony Garitta Jr., 35, of Wildwood, allegedly took boxes of tools from Galaxy Home Solutions and loaded them into his Jeep, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

Video surveillance cameras captured Garitta taking the items, the arrest report indicated.

He was arrested on a felony charge of grand theft. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $2,000 bond.
