A Pensacola man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence early Wednesday in Sumter County.

David Jason Glatt, 47, of Pensacola was reported to be driving erratically and was observed by an officer as he attempted to put gas in his car, leaving the vehicle for almost an hour and a half at the gas pump as he went in and out of the vehicle, according to an arrest report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The trooper followed Glatt as he exited the gas station and pulled him over as he was having trouble keeping his vehicle in the right travel lane while driving well below the speed limit, the report stated.

Glatt was booked at Sumter County Detention Center. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
