The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a truck which struck and killed a 59-year-old Ocala woman early Friday morning.
Patricia Ann Terry was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident which occurred at 5:40 a.m. at Spring Loop Circle in Ocala, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
A dark-colored pickup truck was traveling south on Spring Road as it approached the intersection of Spring Loop Circle. For unknown reasons, Terry was laying in the roadway in the southbound lane of Spring Road within the intersection of Spring Loop Circle. The intersection was lit and Terry was wearing bright red pants and a multi-colored top. The pickup failed to stop and its underside struck Terry. The pickup continued to travel south on Spring Road and left the scene.
